Darin Hammers
President and CEO
Darin Hammers
President and CEODarin Hammers has over 30 years’ experience with increasing leadership roles in the medical device industry. Most recently, he served as CEO of DYSIS Medical from September 2018 – December 2022. Before joining DYSIS, Mr. Hammers served as the President and CEO of Cogentix Medical, acquired by Laborie in April 2018. He joined Cogentix’s predecessor company, Uroplasty, as Vice President of Global Sales in January 2013. During his time at Uroplasty, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer before being named President and CEO in July 2016. Prior to joining Uroplasty, he was Vice President of Sales for Bard Medical Division of C.R. Bard based in Covington, GA, focused on Urology/Gynecology care products. Mr. Hammers also spent more than 12 years with Boston Scientific in various sales leadership positions and six years at ETHICON. He received his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Southern Indiana, and a master’s in Business Administration from Emory University – Goizueta Business School.
Brett Reynolds

Brett Reynolds
Chief Financial OfficerBrett Reynolds brings over 25 years of financial leadership experience, including areas of profitability and cash flow enhancement, financial planning and analysis, revenue growth, M&A, financial systems, fundraising, strategic/operational planning, and Board/Investor relations. Most recently, Brett spent four years as CFO at Resonetics, a high growth private equity backed contract manufacturing organization supplying the medical device and diagnostics industry. Prior to joining Resonetics, Mr. Reynolds was CFO for five years at Cogentix Medical, a publicly traded urology company where he worked with Mr. Hammers until the company was acquired by Laborie in April 2018. Mr. Reynolds was CFO of Synovis Life Technologies, a publicly traded medical device company, from 2015 until its acquisition by Baxter in 2012. Earlier career experiences included rising to senior manager at Deloitte, where he led audit engagements as well as performance management and M&A engagements. Brett received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting was well as his MBA in Finance / Strategic Management from the University of Minnesota, and is a CPA (inactive).

Lynn Ray

Lynn Ray
Vice President, MarketingLynn Ray brings over 30 years of marketing, sales, and clinical experience to the EGS team. Prior to joining EGS, Lynn enjoyed a 15-year career at Olympus serving in progressive leadership roles in both GI and Respiratory Endoscopy marketing. Previously, Lynn worked at Terumo Interventional Systems as well as Siemens Medical Solutions in both Australia and the USA. Lynn’s expertise includes extensive upstream and downstream marketing including strategy development and execution, product commercialization, and brand development. Lynn is originally from the United Kingdom where she studied general and critical care nursing.
Darren Crow
Vice President, R&D and Operations
Darren Crow
Vice President, R&D and OperationsDarren Crow has over 20 years of medical research and development experience. He has been with EGS since 2005 and has held a number of engineering positions at EGS including Director of Research and Development. He has led the development of several EsophyX products through successful introductions. Prior to EGS he held various engineering leadership roles at Plexus/SeaMED Corporation and Siemens Medical. His past development experience includes cardiology, radiation therapy, optical sensing and medical imaging. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho and a MS in Physics from University of Washington.
Sarah Lyon

Sarah Lyon
Vice President, Healthcare Economics, Reimbursement, and PolicySarah Lyon’s experience spans over 15 years of increasing leadership roles in the medical device industry. Most recently, she served as Vice President, Market Access and Strategic Marketing for Respicardia, a company with a novel sleep medicine neurostimulation therapy that was acquired by ZOLL Medical. Before joining ZOLL Respicardia, Ms. Lyon spent 10 years at Medtronic driving new therapy commercialization in various leadership roles. She brings expertise in new technology commercialization, reimbursement and health economics, payer advocacy and pathway development. She also brings strategy consulting and financial services experience with a focus on healthcare M&A and commercial strategy. Ms. Lyon holds a bachelors of arts degree in economics from St. Olaf College and masters of business administration from The Wharton School of Business.
Martin Reid

Martin Reid
Vice President, SalesMartin Reid has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining EGS, he held senior sales leadership positions in the GI space with Olympus Corporation of the Americas, Johnson & Johnson, and Given Imaging. Mr. Reid has established a consistent and successful track record of building and leading high-performance sales organizations. His experience includes launching new and paradigm shifting medical technologies, market development, IDN engagement, and Key Account partnerships. Mr. Reid graduated from Whitworth University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business.
